This 1969 photo shows one of the astronauts of the Apollo 12 space mission conducting experiment on the moon's surface. The custom-fit suits are made of a complex mixture of Teflon, polyvinylchloride and latex laced with tubing all aimed at allowing the astronauts to carry out their missions in the harshest of all environments.
