Nissan Motor upgraded its earnings outlook Tuesday, saying it was on course to end the current financial year in the black thanks to solid demand in China and other emerging markets. "Our performance in the third quarter of fiscal 2009 is encouraging, demonstrating that our countermeasures (in response to the global economic downturn) are working," chief executive Carlos Ghosn said in a statement.
