This picture released by The Vatican press office shows Pope Benedict XVI (C) greeted by the members of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints prior au audience at The Vatican. Pope Benedict XVI moved controversial wartime pontiff Pius XII closer to sainthood by declaring him "venerable" in a surprise announcement on Saturday.
