Sen. Edward Kennedy spoke out against Homeland Security's immigrant raid in New Bedford, Mass. He spoke about how splitting up children from their families is unacceptable and showed reporters a picture of the children he had spoken to minutes before, ages 2 and 4, who were separated from their mothers and "hadn't slept in three nights." He said immigrants have built America and how they ought to be given a chance to make a life here if "they play by the rules.
