Austrian Christian Hoffmann skis to place third in the men's 15km cross country event at the FIS World Cup in Lahti on March 2009. Austria's anti-doping authority NADA on Friday said it had opened an investigation into Austrian cross country ski champion Christian Hoffmann, suspected of doping in an ongoing investigation being carried out by the Vienna prosecutor's office.
