Syria and Lebanon Relations
A video grab distributed in August 2009 by the office of Abdel Malek al-Huthi, the leader of Yemen's Zaidi rebels, shows smoke billowing from damaged buildings in the Haydan district, a rugged mountainous region in northern Yemen. The Yemeni government has repeatedly sought to portray the so-called Huthis as proxies of Shiite Iran, the same charge long levelled against Hezbollah.
