This NOAA satellite image taken Monday, November 16, 2009 at 12:45 AM EST shows patches of active weather in the Central Plains and across the mid-section of the nation as a storm system moves through the northern Plains. A line of precipitation develops along an associated frontal boundary that extends through the Mid-Mississippi Valley into the Ohio Valley. Rain showers and snowfall develop in the eastern halves of Kansas and Nebraska.
