The western US state of Oregon was rattled early Wednesday by a pair of earthquakes, the US Geological Survey said. The first temblor off Oregon's coast struck at 1238 GMT and measured 5.0 on the moment magnitude scale, followed 30 seconds later by a quake measuring 5.3.
