Climate Change Issues
A wind turbine complex is seen on the Zhemo Mountain in the outskirts of Dali, in China's southwestern province of Yunnan. Over the last two years, China has made extensive use of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), created under the Kyoto Protocol, to set up green projects such as wind farms, small hydro projects or methanisation units.
