A view of the Iraqi capital Baghdad and the Tigris River which runs north-south through the country in May 2009. A first batch of young, unemployed people from Sierra Leone departed for Afghanistan and Iraq on Tuesday to start jobs in the war-torn countries arranged by a US firm, a government official said.
