Surfing
People watch a surfer competing during the Sooruz Lacanau Pro semi-finale, in August 2008, in Lacanau, southwestern France. Surfing in France is riding a crest of a wave with around 100,000 regular practitioners, including 35,000 who have been through various training schools around the coasts.
