NYCC 2014: 'Powers' Trailer
POWERS, created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, is coming to a PlayStation network near you. The first trailer was unveiled at the panel and now we get a chance to see the characters in action.
There is some MATURE LANGUAGE so be aware you're expected to be an appropriate age to view this.
POWERS follows the lives of two homicide detectives, Christian Walker (Sharlto Copley) and Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward), who are assigned to investigate cases involving people with extraordinary abilities, referred to as “Powers.” As you’ll see in the first look trailer, POWERS centers on Walker’s journey as a hero who lost his powers and struggles with losing what made him great.
Available this winter, PlayStation platform owners will be able to download/stream individual episodes ofPOWERS. Members of PlayStation Plus, the premium gaming membership, will be able to view the entirePOWERS series for free and obtain exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. Episode 1 of POWERS will be made free for everyone, regardless if they own a PlayStation or not.
