    OATI South Campus Development Begins

    Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI) begins development of South Campus.

    Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI) announces the acquisition of two contiguous parcels in Bloomington to house the new OATI South Campus, a new office complex and Data Center.

    The nearly 4-acre South Campus is located on the NE corner of the I-494 and Hwy. 100 interchange. The Computer Avenue location will include a data center, office space, meeting suites, and will showcase OATI Smart Grid solutions as well as other OATI products and services.

    “OATI is expanding and adding new product lines quickly, including Smart Energy and Smart Grid solutions,” said Dr. Sasan Mokhtari, President & CEO. “This Minnesota site was the absolute best location to serve the needs of our growing company and was made possible because of the commitment Minnesota has made to data center technologies in the recent Data Center legislation. This facility will represent the integral place data centers have in everyday life.”

    The OATI South Campus joins the company’s 22-acre headquarters in northeast Minneapolis. The new site development will feature an iconic design that will premier Minnesota once again as the leader in computer technology, and it will revitalize the I-494 corridor as the data technology center of the nation.
