The White House has just released its newest photo album containing hundreds of "candid" shots of the president and first lady engaged in a myriad different situations -- from jumping off boulders (a picture that prompted the Huffington Post to brand President Obama an "action hero") to signing a child's anti-gun letter.
Below is a sampling of pictures from the album, which can be viewed in its entirety on the White House's official Flickr account.
