Obama and Biden Get Physical on the Campaign Trail
President Obama and Joe Biden had two strange, but similar photos taken of them on Sunday afternoon. Both men got a little, uhm, physical on the campaign trail.

This is President Obama getting bear-hugged by Scott Van Duzer, the owner of Big Apple Pizza & Pasta Restaurant in Florida. Secret Service: no where to be found. Van Duzer's a registered Republican but he's still an Obama supporter, Politico's Reid Epstein reports.
Van Duzer is 6'3" and weighs 260 pounds. He is a large man. Here, he's literally manhandling the President. He makes the President of the United States look like a small child. Afterwards, Obama was all, "Everybody look at these guns," referring to the massive, approximately 27" pythons Van Duzer has for arms. "If I eat your pizza, will I look like that?"
So why did Obama visit this Van Duzer? Because he is an amazing person, of course.
"One of the reasons that we wanted to stop by is that Scott has been doing unbelievable work out of this pizza shop in promoting the importance of donating blood," Potus said. "And so he has set some records here in Florida. He has received commendations from the White House, the surgeon general, he has galvanized and mobilized the local community and he's educating kids and folks all across the country on this issue.
"So here's an example of somebody who is doing well but he's also giving back. So, we just want to say how proud we are of him. I still wonder how he got these biceps, but what we know is that the guy's just got a big heart along with big pecs. So, we're very proud of him and we just want to say thank you for all the great work."
And then, in Ohio...
This is Joe Biden with a lady sitting, maybe not on his lap, but definitely in and around his lap area, while her two male companions watch him whisper sweet, delicious nothings into her ear. He also gave her a massage.
He was also campaigning in the swing state. ABC News reports he focused on the troops during his campaign stop speeches. "They’re not bad guys. It’s just a different, as my brother would say, different breed of cat," Biden said, describing Republicans. "Folks, folks, let me ask you: How many of you, like me, had a son or a daughter who went to Iraq or Afghanistan? How many of you have a brother or sister. How many of you know somebody who’s gone? You all know, you all know, we owe these young women and men an incredible debt to them, we owe those families an incredible debt," he said.
