Obama: May be time for more NKorea sanctions

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — President Barack Obama says it may be time to consider further sanctions against North Korea "that have even more bite."

Obama says it's important to look at additional ways to apply pressure on North Korea as the country is threatening its fourth nuclear test.

Obama was speaking Friday at a joint news conference with South Korean President Park Geun-hye (goon-hay). He says the U.S. and South Korea will deepen their military alliance including missile defense systems.

But Obama warned there are limits to what impacts additional penalties can have on North Korea since it's already the most isolated country in the world. He says, quote, "we are not going to find a magic bullet that solves this problem overnight."
