We need to do whatever it takes to punish companies for manufacturing overseas. Not just open our ports and say, "oh, we'll buy whatever trash you pay your people 50 cents an hour to produce'. The consumers of this country collectively hold the power. If you want change, stop buying these products. Just say NO! I like Costa Rica. It is very pretty and the people are really nice. Thanks to our high corporate tax rate, and high union salaries, a lot of companies like Del Monte have opened shop down there. If you are looking for a job, or looking to open a business, go on down to Costa Rica.
