are we still labeling these loser as protestors? i am probably one of the 99% disagreeing with these losers, nowadays. they do not stand for anything and have lost their focus on the issues they were fighting for. they have now turned into radicals and law-breakers or shall i say local terrorists that need to be controlled as soon as possible. bean bags, maybe but some other "drastic" methods will do it...

300 people who will have a difficult time finding gainful employment. "Have you ever been arrested for or convicted of a crime?" One question on an application (in most states) when answered unfavorably, may well be considered the kiss of death and the end of the applicants chances of being hired. That coupled with public records searches by Equifax and Lexus Nexus among others, for candidate background checks, almost no hiding a brush with the law or a momentary lapse of judgement. Oh well, I suppose that most of the arrested protesters were aware of this beforehand and decided to do it anyways, disregard the law and any future consequences.

Its only reasonable that police protect public property and themselves from violence. Concerning the occupy cause, oh well. But the fact that oakland has a-holes to begin with doesn't help much either.

Keep it up. People have the right to defend their selves and their well-being in this country. That could get very ugly in the near future in the wrong place. People will wind up dying over what they "think" is their right to criminal behavior. This is not about “civil” rights, it is greedy, jealous class warfare and the greedy lazy jerks are the ones marching in the streets for things they did not earn and are not entitled to. The whole cause at its heart of the housing boom and bust was loaning money to completely unqualified people for homes they were not qualified under any circumstances to own. People working restaurant jobs landing $500,000 homes. When the value of those homes hit a certain level of overall unaffordability because the only way this whole sham would support itself was for property values to continue to go up so they could be “flipped” it fell apart and took the rest of economy with it. The people who took out those loans are as guilty or more guilty than ANY BANK. I do not need a primer to understand EXACTLY what happened and I am fed up with little 100 IQ commoner self-entitled twerps who think that they are owed anything. They will be lucky if jail or a rubber bullet is all they get.

Set the fines and the bail money high enough so they can't get out of jail. If some rich groups are paying these fines and bail, then let make some money to cover for the cost of arrest these scums. Let them do some jail times for a few months and see if we can't stop them. Stop wasting time and money.
