Official Captain America: Civil War LEGO Set Confirms GIANT Rumour
In December, leaked catalogue photos for LEGO’s upcoming ‘Captain America: Civil War’ range appeared to reveal a BIG secret about Marvel’s summer superhero smackdown.
The blurry snaps seemed to show Ant-Man using his suit’s scale-changing abilities to grow bigger rather than smaller and do battle as Giant-Man in the film’s airport-set showdown.
Now the official sets are out and we think it’s safe to assume that Ant-Man is definitely getting a massive makeover in ‘Civil War’.
As you can see Paul Rudd’s shrinking superhero has transformed into the ginormous Giant-Man to do battle with War Machine.

In the Marvel comics, Ant-Man has often appeared as Giant-Man so there’s precedent for it, but it’s cool to see them using him in the movies too. One of the chief criticisms of 2015′s ‘Ant-Man’ was the hero’s limited, and frankly quite laughable, powers. An appearance as a hulking behemoth capable of wreaking devastating damage should stop the titters at the back of the auditorium.
The set, titled ‘Super Hero Airport Battle’ RRP £69.99, also comes with the Quinjet, a tiny Ant-Man minifig, plus minfigs for Agent 13, Scarlet Witch, Winter Soldier, Captain America, War Machine, and Iron Man and will be released on 1 March.
Other sets coming in March include Black Panther Pursuit which appears to show Marvel’s latest hero flying the Black Panther Jet, something else that hasn’t been in the film’s trailers so far, and Crossbones’ Hazard Heist.
