Ogude a doubt for Super Eagles

Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi is sweating on the fitness of Valerenga midfielder Fegor Ogude ahead of next months World Cup qualifier against Malawi. The 26-year-old picked up a knock playing for his club side and may be forced to sit out the crucial qualifier on September 7, in Calabar. Keshi is set to name his final 23-man squad for the match against The Flames, and says he hopes to be able to call upon the powerful midfielder as the Super Eagles look to progress to the final stage of qualifying. "I have been in touch with all the players and they are all rearing to go,' Keshi said. "The only concern I have right now is Fegor Ogude, I heard he suffered a knock while in action for his club. I just hope he can make it, but I will soon speak with him to find out his present situation."
