NEW YORK (AP) — Oil prices climbed for a fourth day on hopes that the Federal Reserve will take additional steps to prop up the economy.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange:
Crude rose $1.33 to end at $88.43 per barrel.
Gasoline rose 3.86 cents to finish at $2.8547 per gallon.
Heating oil added 3.95 cents to end at $2.8277 per gallon.
Natural gas fell 7.3 cents to finish at $2.8010 per 1,000 cubic feet.
On the ICE Futures exchange in London:
Brent crude rose $1.95 to finish at $103.37 per barrel.
