Oil rises near $93 per barrel

NEW YORK (AP) — Oil prices rose slightly Friday as traders weighed the slower global economic growth against potential supply disruptions due to unrest in the Middle East.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange:

Benchmark crude rose 47 cents to finish at $92.89 per barrel.

Heating oil increased 2.32 cents to end at $3.1207 per gallon.

Gasoline rose 3.85 cents to finish at $2.9425 per gallon.

Natural gas added 8.8 cents to end at $2.885 per 1,000 cubic feet.

On the ICE Futures exchange in London:

Brent crude rose $1.39 to finish the day at $111.42 per barrel.
