One person hospitalized after explosion in East Naples RV, Collier sheriff's office says

One person was taken to the hospital after authorities say an explosion and fire broke out in an RV in a Naples area neighborhood.

Adam Fisher, spokesperson for the Collier County Sheriff's Office, said deputies were called around 10:15 p.m. Friday to the explosion and fire in the 3600 block of Seagrape Avenue, in East Naples.

Fisher said there was no active fire when deputies arrived and no houses were burned, although one person was hospitalized for burns. He added that Greater Naples Fire responded and is handling the investigation.

No further information was available Saturday afternoon.
