    OneIMS Hosted Online Marketing Seminar for Nonprofit Organizations

    As part of its ongoing efforts to help nonprofit organizations to enhance their online profiles, leading Chicago online marketing firm OneIMS once again teamed up with Google affiliate HandsOn Suburban Chicago to host an online marketing training seminar. Attendees received individualized website and web marketing evaluations in addition to learning critical online marketing skills.

    Today, Chicago integrated marketing firm OneIMS and Google affiliate HandsOn Suburban Chicago held an online training seminar for prominent attendees from the non-profit sector at United Way’s downtown Chicago office. Non-profit representatives learned how to enhance their organizations’ online presence through search engine optimization, social media platforms, advertising, and other online marketing tools.

    OneIMS and HandsOn Technology share a goal of helping non-profit organizations help more people and raise more funds by expanding their online presence. Brent Miller, Online Marketing Manager at OneIMS, says “What we hope to have accomplished in this seminar is giving non-profit organizations the tools and knowledge they need to reach out to more people and connect with organizations and donors who serve similar demographics.”

    The three-hour seminar covered a number of relevant topics, including a lesson on how to utilize online marketing strategies to maximum effect. In addition to providing generalized lessons, OneIMS staff offered pro-bono one-on-one consultations with nonprofit representatives to existing online efforts and formulate an improved, multifaced marketing plan.

    “Because every non-profit organization is unique, we felt that providing a personalized evaluation would be more beneficial that just providing general online marketing advice. Our staff helped to pinpoint any areas of difficulty and come up with long-term solutions to grow their online presence. All attendees received an extensive printout of our evaluation and advice,” says Miller.

    Given the turnout and success of this seminar, OneIMS plans to host similar events in the future. According to Solomon Thimothy, OneIMS President, “The more non-profits engage with the online community, the more people they will reach.
