    Online SEO Idol Contest Winner Rakes in over 100 Million IDR

    Online diamond jewelers Shiree Odiz have paid out over 100 Million IDR to the winner of a controversial SEO contest that ended today, launched over a year ago to help them build an "army of online marketers" working as individuals and a group, promoting their website.

    It may be the equivalent to $12,372 US, but this is a big deal for the 24 year old Indonesian winner of the largest online marketing contest to date as New York and Israel based engagement rings specialist Shiree Odiz announced today the official winner of their controversial "SEO Idol" contest after 12 months of heated competition.

    ShireeOdiz.com launched the largest affiliate marketing challenge to date, on 1st January 2011, in an attempt to keep pace with market leaders Tiffany & Co. and Blue Nile, who between them made over $450m dollars in online sales in 2009, according to their public financial reports. With Google.com accounting for over 45% of global internet users, according to the latest Alexa.com statistics, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) specialists and experienced affiliate marketers have become vital to any organic online marketing strategy, with search as the primary focus.

    Mr. Bramantya Farid Prakosa isn't a professional SEO marketer and only learnt SEO two years ago. "I joined many online coursed to learn SEO, bought a lot of software and sacrificed many things to learn SEO" explains the proud winner. "I heard about the Shiree Odiz SEO Idol contest through a friend and spent 3-6 hours a day to reach the top position."
