  • WAITING FOR THE LAWN TRACTOR

Randy Cohen – Sun Nov 8, 8:01 pm ET

The shop that services my lawn tractor told me to expect its return in a week. I want it back sooner and am considering giving the workers an up-front cash bonus to put my tractor at the head of the line. But this feels worryingly like covert bribery. Other customers wouldn't know about it nor could they bid against me with higher bonuses. Is such a payment ethical? -- Donald Dal Maso, Bangor, Pa. Full Story »

  • SUNBATHERS ON DISPLAY

Randy Cohen – Sun Oct 18, 8:01 pm ET

One Sunday in Central Park, my boyfriend and I observed a man covertly position a video camera to record women sunbathing nearby. While we debated what to do, the women began to dress, and the man put away his camera and left. What should we have done? -- Kathleen Lubey, New York Full Story »

  • THE OFFICE: SNACK EPISODE

Randy Cohen – Sun Oct 11, 8:01 pm ET

Candy and baked goods are often left around our office for all to eat, and I've gained a few unnecessary pounds. I can usually walk by the brownies, but next week a co-worker with a vocal disdain for dieting is hosting an all-office dessert swap, and my willpower is not that strong. I will not attend. If asked why, may I lie and say that my doctor advised me to consume less sugar? -- M.S., Somerville, Mass. Full Story »
