Outage alert: 11 Apple services are having serious problems this morning
Bad news, Apple fans: you may wake up on Thursday to find that a whole host of Apple’s cloud-based services are completely down or at least slow to respond this morning. Apple’s service status page shows that 11 different services in total are experiencing downtime or are at least having problems that will cause them to perform slowly for some users.

Interestingly, not all iCloud services have been impacted by the outage, as you can see:
Apple’s system status page shows that the aforementioned services have been experiencing problems since shortly after 2:00 a.m. EDT on Thursday morning, though some users on Twitter and Facebook had reported issues prior to that time. The only details offered on Apple’s website are as follows: “Users may experience slower than normal response when using most iCloud services.”
There is currently no indication as to when Apple’s cloud services might return to normal.
