OvaScience taps Colorescience CEO as director

OvaScience appoints Colorescience CEO Fisher to serve as a board member

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) -- OvaScience Inc., which develops and commercializes new treatments for infertility, has named Colorescience CEO and President Mary Fisher to its board. This expands the board's size to 10 members.

Fisher was appointed at the June 7 board meeting.

Privately held Colorescience is a provider of mineral-based skin care products and other beauty items.

It had been part of SkinMedica, which was sold to Allergan Inc. last year for $375 million.

Shares of OvaScience fell $1.57, or 10.1 percent, to $14.03 in Tuesday morning trading. The stock has traded in a 52-week range of $7.50 to $16.
