    Packing a green and non-toxic lunch helps promote a healthy environment and a healthy lifestyle. By packing a “green” lunch with reusable products, allows you to reduce your carbon footprint and save money. Choosing non-toxic products to package your lunch help you minimize exposure to chemicals like BPA and phthalates, which can have negative impacts on your overall health.

    1. Lunchbag: Instead of using a brown baggie or a leftover plastic grocery store bag, pack your lunch in a reusable lunch bag made from 100% organic cotton. Compared to conventional cotton, the methods used to grow organic cotton have lower environmental impacts and are non-toxic because no pesticides are used. Reusable lunch bags are easy to carry and help reduce waste.


    2. Food: Swap out your plastic containers for non-toxic and reusable stainless steel food containers, which are dishwasher safe, and, more importantly, won’t leach chemicals like BPA into your food. ESP has a variety of sizes to accommodate anything from a sandwich to a salad to small snacks. For food usually packed in plastic bags, try using reusable snack bags and reusable sandwich bags that are non-toxic and environmentally friendly.


    3. Utensils: Reusable bamboo utensils are a great alternative to plastic utensils, are lighter than packing silverware, and eco-friendly, since bamboo is a renewable and sustainable resource.


    4. Drink: instead of packing a new plastic water bottle every day, try using BPA free bottles made from glass or stainless steel. Not only will you be reducing waste but you will also be avoiding exposure to BPA.
