Packers sign RB HIll from practice squad

The Green Bay Packers promoted running back Michael Hill to the 53-man roster from the practice squad Monday and signed wide receiver Reggie Dunn to the practice squad.

Hill, a rookie free agent out of Missouri Western, was signed to the Packers' practice squad on Sept. 2. He played in four preseason games with the San Diego Chargers. Hill is Missouri Western's all-time leading rusher with 4,969 yards with 35 touchdowns on 828 carries.

Dunn, an undrafted free agent out of Utah, signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in May and played in four preseason games. He returned 10 kickoffs for 513 yards and a school-record four TDs last season on his way to earning first-team All-Pacific-12 honors as a kick returner.

-- TE Logan Paulsen left the locker room sporting a knee brace. Coach Mike Shanahan didn't have an update on Paulsen on Monday.

-- NT Chris Neild left the Oakland game with a right calf injury. Shanahan didn't have an update on Neild on Monday.

-- K Kai Forbath missed a third straight game with a sore groin suffered in practice on Sept. 12. He should return against the Cowboys.

-- TE Jordan Reed was inactive at Oakland after bruising his right quad against Detroit.

-- OLB Brandon Jenkins was inactive at Oakland after spraining his right ankle against Detroit.

-- ILB London Fletcher set a post-merger record for a defensive player at Oakland by playing in his 244th consecutive game.
