HARRISBURG, Pa., June 14, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs will hold a public information meeting to discuss the future sale of the Bellefonte armory from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. on Monday, June 17, at the Bellefonte Municipal Building, 236 W. Lamb St., Bellefonte.
DMVA staff will explain the process for disposing of state armories and answer any questions. They will provide information about the advantages of acquiring armory property under a historic preservation covenant.
The public information meeting is being held in advance of the upcoming sale of the former PA National Guard Armory, 1081 Zion Road, Bellefonte.
The Department of General Services will sell this property for fair market value by competitive bids in the coming months.
