PETA Says Abusing Animals is Wrong but Abusing Women is Humorous

Why do PETA go after women wearing fur? Because it's easier to harass a lady wearing fur than a biker wearing leather.

Wow, someone in PETA's ad department had a colossal failure of perspective and insight.

I'm actually more insulted by the insinuation that it's not possible for omnivores to be healthy and that if you aren't vegan than you must have a diet that is total crap. I happen to eat very healthy thank you very much, and I know omnivores who are total health nuts and I know vegetarians whose diets would make a goat throw up. As far as sex goes...my husband is a complete carnivore and our sex life is probably more active than most couples we know. I've seen vegan men who appeared to be so malnourished that I would be shocked to find out they could get it up. I think I'll stick with my meat-eating husband, thanks. The whole ad campaign is based on faulty science, and anecdotal evidence no doubt provided by the very PETArds who live in denial.This isn't the first time that PETA has done such misogynist #$%$ things for their campaigns and it won't be the last. I'm not at all surprised. Since women are not animals of course it's perfectly humorus for a woman to be beat up by her man during sex to the point where she needs a neckbrace, and like any abuse victim she'll just come back for more. Cause even though she's already hurt of course she's thinking about all that hot sex. Ha ha. Gee funny.I could also remark how laughable it is to describe PETA as an animal right's organization but I've gone on long enough.

Yeah its a total turn on to have sex with a man whose lost 60% of his muscle mass due to protein withdrawl and then farts huge clouds of methane due to his ultra high fiber diet. Sign me up.

This commercial only reflect on the typical hypocrisy of PETA.

If you supported PETA before than you were a sheeple, blindly following a myth that they sold you. There are so many things wrong with peta it's hard to know where to start.
So let's start with the FACT that they kill more animals each year than all shelters in the US combined. And instead of either cremating or burying the remains they dump them in dumpsters to be taken to the dump.
They are one of the most misogynist groups around, they have no respect for people and even less respect for women. They'll point to the fact that their CEO and others are females but all that shows is that those females have no respect for themselves or other women.
This current ad shows how much they disrespect women and anyone who says 'find the humor, she's smiling'. Needs to do some research on battered women.
Then there was the ad a year or two ago where the women were in some state of undress or getting there all for what? To basically perform sex acts with vegetables.
Again using and sexualizing women. Women are never shown in a positive light they are used for sex and abuse.
They also promote a vegan lifestyle, which for an adult may be healthy if done carefully, they fail to educate their supporters that a child under the age of 2 cannot thrive on a vegan diet. Children will become malnourished and there have been cases of children dying. The children that survive often have lower IQ's and other neurological and learning disorders.

If you are going to support a group, organization or whatever do your own due diligence, don't just blindly believe everything they tell you, see what the other side also has to say and this goes for everything.

PETA is a very dangerous group and they do more harm then they have done good. Their ideology at one time may have been somewhat positive but they have become a group that sends negative messages about women, and people in general.

The first time I ever heard of PETA was when they threw a pie in the face of a fifteen-year old "Pork Queen" at a midwestern state fair. Assaulting a young girl to show they care about animals. Nice to see they haven't changed.

Apparently PETA missed the memo that women are animals too.

C,mon it's not that offensive. It's not the funniest thing I've ever seen, but if it had been a man walking around in a pelvis cast, I wouldn't be offended or try to link the message with abuse. This is coming from someone who is absolutely not a fan of PETA at all (and eats meat). This is sensationalism.

PETA is for people, who can't maintain relationships with other people. They have no empathy for people, only animals.

PETA uses shock and awe to get their point across. This is nothing new. They are extremists and dont care about the consequences of their actions. I have worked with animals all my life and would never harm one for anything. But I eat meat, I hunt in overpopulated areas and show horses. I agree that there are horrors that are done to animals every day that should be addressed and those doing it should be held accountable, but PETA's all or nothing approach does no good for either the animals or the people that love them. There has to be a middle ground.

The only thing PETA is good for is a few laughs. I mean, you really shouldn't take these dufuses seriously. What a sad bunch of nut cases. They should all be locked up in a cage with their friends....at the zoo.

So the way PETA normally treats women is OK? Putting naked women on display in cages didn’t make you think that they might be the slightest bit misogynist?

Any group that advocates an extreme position on any topic is probably wrong.

PETA is a bunch of cra(p), always has been.

Peta and HSUS had said that when you mistreat a animal during you develpment you will mistreat Humans. This means that Peta and HSUS are monsters hiding behind thier concern for animals. The are Terrorist groups.

Never did support this PETA. This is a good example of why. I do support the other PETA. People Eating Tasty Animals.

I belonged to PETA for fourteen years. Then, I read Newkirk's opinion of fighting dog breeds - of which my dog is one - and I quit the group. If the president of PETA believes that my loyal, loving, wonderful bulldog should be destroyed on sight, then I think I will give my money to The Defenders of Wildlife or the Center for Patient Advocacy. This group is its own worst enemy.
