A Petition For Snoop Dogg to Narrate 'Planet Earth' Only Needs 344 Signatures
Change.org calls itself the world's platform for change. It's the place where regular Internet users like you and I can boot up our computers and type our name into a box and feel like we've made a difference in the world. It's a place that promotes a number of worthy causes, like freeing the Washington Post journalist held in Iran, or supporting Syrian children's right to an education. But like all user generated content, its quality depends on the person who makes it. And some petitions are better than others. This one, a letter to Animal Planet and Snoop Dogg, falls under the category of Great Causes. It's a plea to get Snoop Dogg to narrate an entire season of Planet Earth.
And considering how phenomenal Snoop's first, oh-so-brief nature narration videos were, it's no wonder this petition only needs 344 more signatures to reach its 2,500-person goal. It even has the support of Snoop himself, as he posted a picture of it on his Instagram, which I guess was really all that we needed. Good job, internet. You did something.
