Wouldn't a list of the lot numbers be helpful here? Those have to be released. At the very least, contact information should be listed clearly in the article for Pfizer or the FDA regarding the recall.

Curiously, they only had to contact the cast the The Jersey Shore to get most of them back.

What in blazes is wrong with their quality control department? If their drugs are being made or packaged outside of the US then the FDA needs to shut them down period. These foreign countries have already proven that their corruption and substitution of components have endangered millions. Yet the FDA seems more concerned about petty little things performed in a US controlled manufacturing environment. Silly things like: monitoring the color of ink used in paperwork, or whether the calculations performed in Excel are the same as manual calculations. Or whether the fork lift used to move pallets around is certified for ISO9000 use. The list goes on, yet the FDA looks the other way when a manufacture produces critical components abroad because it is 1/100 cheaper to do so. No QC there.

Yes, But what country were these pills made in? I had been taking generic Pills for migraines and blood pressure. After my Pharmacy "osco drug" changed over to a cheaper generic from
India, I started to have symptoms and side effects I hadn't had in the last 5 years. I wen to talk to my Doctor and found out that many of the generics are being shipped here and they do not have the same quality control even though the main ingredient is the same it's the transportation and mixing in of the inert non-essential ingredients that was causing the sickness. I later found out that there were 60 of people with the same complaints at the drugstore but no on warning or recall was ever issued by the corporate head quarters. You just can not trust meds that come from 3rd world countries that are distributed by greedy pharmacies and discount driven insurance agencies!

Romney's mouthpiece said last night that we have to remove these "business crushing regulations". He should have added..."and to hell with the health and well being of the citizens of the United States" to his diatribe.

Now the question is: How many of the women that are using these faulty batches read on-line news? Clearly there may be a bunch that get pregnant this week, maybe, because they currently don't know they're "unprotected." Not "getting lucky" for the rest of the month could actually be VERY lucky...
