    New PHD Virtual Backup & Replication Version 5.4 Provides Extensible Integration Capabilities for Enterprises, Managed Service Providers and Cloud Providers

The new release enables Enterprises, Cloud and Managed Service Providers to integrate advanced data protection capabilities directly into their virtualization management infrastructure. An extensible application programing interface (API) and development kit enable PHD Virtual’s backup, recovery and replication capabilities to be directly integrated into backend management infrastructures, existing applications, Service Provider frameworks and web based self-service user portals.

    PHD Virtual Backup and Replication is a preferred choice for Enterprises and Cloud and Managed Service Providers with its unique Virtual Backup Appliance (VBA) architecture and robust data protection capabilities. Unlike other solutions that require separate backup servers and agents, the PHD Virtual Backup Appliance deploys directly into the virtualization infrastructure as a virtual appliance, without the need to deploy servers or agents in the data center or at a remote branch office or customer site.
