Photo Challenge: Show Us How You Celebrate

There are reasons to celebrate every day, big and small. We think of major holidays as celebrations, but there are also personal moments such as birthdays, engagements and promotions.

Here in the United States, we celebrate the anniversary of our country's independence on July 4th. Traditionally, we take the day off to spend time with family and friends. There's no one way to celebrate, but common staples include fireworks, parades, and grill-cooked fare such as hot dogs and hamburgers.

But it isn't just the 4th of July that's worthy of celebrating this time of year. Just recently, for example, our northern neighbors celebrated the birthday of their country with Canada Day on July 1. This past Saturday, we celebrated Social Media Day in communities across the globe. And throughout the spring, countless graduates celebrated their diplomas and degrees.

But they are already making the rounds in the court of public opinion, which can influence everything from fundraising efforts to the mind-set of potential jurors in Mr. Zimmerman's murder trial.
