Photofy review
Photofy gives you all the tools you need to take your photos up a few notches. We appreciated its tool tips and easy-to-use interface.
Pros
Helpful tutorials: Photofy offers pop-up tutorials that walk you through each of its features, describing what the feature does and how to use it. Once you become acquainted with the app, just uncheck the "Show Tutorials" option under Settings. There are also FAQ-style tutorials for more in-depth explanations of how to use each tool.
Easy to navigate: Photofy packs a lot of features on your phone's screen, so it's important that it not be cluttered or confusing. The app starts off with a basic screen, asking if you want to capture or create a photo. Once you get to the main page, the tool options are then stacked underneath your photo for easy access.
Quick collages: We especially liked Photofy's collage feature for quickly whipping up a collage of our favorite photos to share with friends. Just select a template and the photos you'd like to use. Once our collage was complete, we were able to preview it, and then save and share on all the popular social media outlets.
Cons
Leaves a watermark: Photofy leaves a watermark on all of your edited photos. For $0.99 you can remove the watermark; however, we didn't find it that obtrusive.
Bottom Line
While Photofy isn't reinventing the wheel, we can certainly appreciate an app that offers clean design, as well as reliable functionality. If you're looking for a solid photo editing app, this will be a welcome addition to your app library.
