U.S. stocks moved back into positive territory despite declines in consumer stocks, particularly homebuilders, in another day of light trading volume. Oprah Winfrey apologized for the media response caused by her comments about an incident in a Swiss luxury store when an assistant refused to show her a $38k handbag. "I'm really sorry that it got blown up. I purposefully did not mention the name of the store. Winfrey said on the red carpet for her new film "Lee Daniels' The Butler" in LA.
