Actors prepare to perform in a theatre play called "The Conquest of Happiness" in Mostar, September 28, 2013. The theatre play by Bosnian director Haris Pasovic opened during the MES International Theatre Festival in Sarajevo which started today. The play combines accounts and dramatization of acts of wars in Palestine, Vietnam, Northern Ireland, Chile and Bosnia. It is symbolically set in an open-air natural setting in the southern town of Mostar, below the famous Ottoman-era Old Bridge which was smashed in the war and then rebuilt. The play is also inspired by the writings of Bertrand Russell and is a co-production of theatres in Belfast, Sarajevo and Ljubljana. Picture taken September 28, 2013.
