A mudslide devastated a rural area near the town of Oso in Snohomish County, Washington, on March 22. Six homes were reportedly destroyed when a wall of mud surged across state Highway 530, four miles east of Oso, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Twenty-one people are confirmed dead and 30 more remain missing, according to local reports.
