Afghan bystanders watch drug addicts take heroin in Kabul, Afghanistan, Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013. Afghanistan is believed to have hundreds of thousands of drug users and heroin addicts. The United Nations said the country is the world's largest producer of opium, the raw ingredient in heroin, and the year 2012 provided about 75 percent of the global crop - a figure that may jump to 90 percent this year due to increased cultivation.
