Amy Barrett and her son Nathan Barrett, 12, of Roseville, Minn., set up a tent during a Sierra Club hosted rally at the State Capitol in St. Paul, Minn., in response to the state government shutdown, calling on legislators to preserve state park funding, Saturday, July 9, 2011. Participants pitched tents on the Capitol lawn staging a mock campout. Barrett, a state worker with the Department of Natural Resources, was laid off due to the shutdown. "Nathan has visited every state park since he was a baby. I'm not here because I was laid off. I'm here because I support the state parks," said Barrett. (AP Photo/Genevieve Ross) less
