An anti-Syrian regime protester and supporter of Islamic Group Jamaa Islamiya, who are opposed to Assad, holds a placard as she protests at the same place where a number of Assad supporters were protesting, in front of the Syrian embassy, in Beirut, Lebanon, on Thursday Aug. 11, 2011. In Lebanon, scuffles erupted Thursday between supporters and opponents of Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime, leading to a few minor injuries. Riot police and soldiers intervened to separate between the two groups protesting outside the Syrian Embassy on a busy street in Beirut's Hamra district. (AP Photo/Hussein Malla) less
