Apple said it has asked Arizona Governor Jan Brewer to veto a bill that allows the state’s businesses to refuse service to gay customers on religious grounds.The bill, which passed the Arizona legislature last week, has been criticized for providing a legal justification to discriminate against gays. Brewer has five working days to sign or veto the bill. Apple CEO Tim Cook has become vocal about gay rights. In November, Cook wrote an editorial urging Congress to support the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which passed the Senate but is awaiting a vote in the House. less
