In this April 22, 2011 photo, crocidolite, a type of asbestos, dark blue color in the center of the pick circle, is seen on a material through a lens of a polarized light microscope at a makeshift laboratory where EFA Laboratory manager Eric Eguina works in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, northeastern Japan. Chrysotile, another type of asbestos, orange color seen next to crocidolite, is also found on the material. Eguina collects samples of materials in areas devastated by the March 11 tsunami for asbestos analyses. less
