Aston Martin celebrates 100-year anniversary

16.	DB5 (1963-1965) – The DB5 was an evolution of the DB4. The main development included a new 4.0 litre engine and the option of a five speed gearbox. The car was originally featured in Goldfinger and most recently Skyfall as James Bond’s preferred car. Only 1059 examples were produced (AMHT)

Legendary British car manufacturer Aston Martin is celebrating its 100th birthday. The company was founded on January 15, 1913, by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Initially called Bamford and Martin Ltd, it was rebranded Aston Martin a year later. The luxury maker has produced more than 60,000 sports cars over the years - but perhaps it is most famous for being the preferred method of transportation for the one and only James Bond.
