The Feds are awesome aren't they? Killing us and then pretending to give a crap. It's like that mother from the 6th sense acting upset because her daughter finally died because she slowly poisoned her. There is the US government in a nut shell, the citizens pay the price and they get to have all the fun that cause it. Soon very soon they will be gone, and thats what its going to take to make our country good again. No more Ds or Rs no more senate or congress, a whole new system where all the rats and greed mongers are gone.

I just returned from NYC and a visit to the newly opened memorial. All in all, the design was an excellent choice. However, I can't get over the lack of US flags at the memorial. The picture above is misleading. There are 2 large flags attached to adjacent construction sites, but once those are finished, I don't think there will be a flag in or near the site. I haven't been able to find an official explanation, but I believe it is because of an attempt at sensitivity to people of other countries who perished there. But get real! It was an attack on the US and displaying the US flag in connection with this tragedy became a symbol of what the US stands for and our solidarity during and since the crisis. While I'm not a flag waving right winger (hence my handle!), there is a time and a place, this is one of them!

These memorials look like two gigantic drains! I do not like them at all. I think two huge organic looking stone pillars with water flowing down from them and lit at nite would have been more majestic. They could be framed with the names and have several benches and trees surrounding the memorial.

The four 9/11 planes were taken over by Remote Control with Lock Out of Navigation and Communications. Flight 93 was intended to hit WTC 7, but something went wrong with the plan, so it had to be shot down or detonated. "Hijackers" were Confidential Informants on their way to an assignment in LA, on board so their DNA could be found in the crash. High speed computer Voice Morphing got the official story out to the public through impossible cell phone calls. WTCs and Pentagon had explosives planted during the construction.
