In this Aug. 26, 2010, photo Katie Miron, the Princess Kay of the Milky Way _ the state's dairy queen _ sits in the chilled confines of the butter sculpting cooler to get her official butter head sculpted by Linda Christensen for the Minnesota State Fair in Falcon Heights, Minn. Butter sculptures began at the Minnesota State Fair in the late 1800s but it wasn't until 1965 that the tradition of carving the heads of the dairy princess began, which is now one of the fair's most popular exhibits according to a fair spokesman.
