Boats are seen moored at the Marina da Gloria, one of the projects of the EBX Group conglomerate owned by Brazilian billionaire Eike Batista, in Rio de Janeiro October 17, 2013. Investors who bet on Batista have lost billions over the past year as the Brazilian's ephemeral business empire, built on a series of mining, energy and shipping companies, imploded. However, they haven't been the only losers ' the onetime Amazon gold trader and former speedboat racer's hometown of Rio de Janeiro has also been shaken by his rapid decline. In 2009, Batista won the concession to manage and modernise this marina, where he said he would build a shopping, entertainment and conference complex. Picture taken October 17.
