The bodies of two Germans who were found dead in Salang, north of Kabul, Afghanistan are driven down the mountainside in a truck, Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011. Local police who carried the bodies down from a mountainous region handed the bodies over to U.S. soldiers. Initial reports indicated they had been shot, but Salang district police chief Quddus Khan said on closer inspection the Germans might have died from blunt trauma. It was also unclear when they died. A spokesman for the Afghan agriculture ministry said the two worked for a German development and assistance organization, GIZ. (AP Photo/Musadeq Sadeq) less
